Bio

Miriam is a current student of the Neural Information Processing master at the Graduate Training Center of Neuroscience in Tübingen. Before, she achieved a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at Rey Juan Carlos University in Spain, where she completed a master thesis in neural alterations of Alzheimer’s Disease in collaboration with the University of Valladolid. Throughout her professional career she worked as an engineer in the medical devices field. Her current research interest is reinforcement learning and computational models of behavior, learning and memory. She will be joining the HMC lab as part of the lab rotations and she will be collaborating with Ryu in the Reinforcement Learning for Cumulative Culture project.
