Bio

I currently work as a Research Assistant at the HMC lab while completing my master’s degree in Cognitive Science at the Technical University of Darmstadt. Prior to that, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Computational Linguistics and Philosophy at Ruprecht Karl University of Heidelberg. In my bachelor’s thesis, I focused on how language models can be adapted to better align with the language-processing mechanisms of the human brain, with the goal of creating more efficient, brain-inspired models. More broadly, I am interested in machine learning methods that help to identify and understand cognitive mechanisms, and develop more cognitively inspired machine learning algorithms that bridge the gap between human cognition and artificial systems.
